Scott C . Boen belives passionately in teaching and promoting critical thinking in the class room. He advances critical thinking by utilizing the

constructivist theory ;

the Socratic Dialogue theory ;

the inquiry process ,

including asking open ended questions;

promoting interaction among students as they learn , especially in small groups settings ;

allowing sufficent time for stundents to reflect  on the questions asked or the probiems posed  and

creating and maintaining an environment that encourages a spirt of discovery.
