Welcome Oakmont’s web-masters Principal’s Message Welcome to Oakmont Elementary. I am Kevin Ward, the principal of this great school. Oakmont is located in the community of claremont in the foothills. We have about 320 students, k - 6 grade. It is a California Distinguish school and has been here since 1954. We have lots of wonderful programs, and lots of things for the students to do. We pride ourselves in being a family because of our small size. And with that family there is a tremendous amount of resources for our students and our community Thank you for your interest in Oakmont Elementary and we hope you enjoy finding out more about us. Filmed by Tony Gutierrez room 13 Oakmont Elementary is a fun school to learn in. Here you can make lots of friends, work with nice teachers and be creative in your work. We have art, music, computer lab, library, P.E. and science. The Principal, Mr. Ward, is fair, he likes to talk with you and he makes fun plans like Principal’s Pals and award assemblies. Oakmont is a first rate school to attend.
