A Cat Is A Great Pet

     Hi everybody! Do any of you have a favorite animal? I do. My favorite animal is a cat, and I think you should know how great a pet a cat can be. But not only a pet, a companion. A companion that will stick with you, a companion that will listen to all of your secrets and never tell.

     You may ask, "Why would I want a pet?" Well, you have to take care of them, but they just might end up your best friend. Cats make great pets, and I'll tell you why. Cats do not need much care compared to dogs. They are independent, not needing attention 24/7. You don't need to clean up after them, just change their litter box. They won't chew your new shoes, or dig holes in your back yard. Also, you don't need to give them baths, they clean themselves. Though cats are independent, they are still loving.

If your cat gets lost, it has more of a chance for surviving than a dog. A cat can catch its own food if needed, and can see in the dark. They are fast, and very agile. Like I said before, all a cat really needs is for you to feed them and love them.

     So, thank you for coming and listening to me today. I hope that if you didn't like cats, you have rethought it, because they really are great. I also hope that if you want a pet, you might  consider a cat. Thanks again, and goodbye.
