There are many different reading lists for sixth grade. They are too exhaustive to write out but you may visit the web sites below and print out your own list. Included you will also find the authors of many books or series that are read in sixth grade. These authors were chosen by Chaparral students as being their favorite authors.

If you are looking for Accelerated Reader leveled book lists, or to find the AR level of a book you can go to

the site listed below. When you get to the site, students know how to check for a level. Follow the following steps.

     1.  Click on the -- "Accelerated Reader" -- link below.

     2.  Click on the tab -- Quiz Store --

     3.  Conduct a search by title or author, when you find the quiz for the book it will tell you the level and

               points.

     4.  To continue to find books fitting under certain levels click on -- Recommended Reading Lists -- There

               will be many lists to find suggested books with the levels listed. Just explore!
