It has been my pleasure to be your children’s teacher this year.  I am proud of every one of them and all that they have accomplished.  Due to changing enrollment at Chaparral, I will be teaching a combination 4th and 5th grade class in Room 14 next year.  I hope I’ll be lucky enough to have a few of my students from this year again next year.  It’s been a truly enjoyable year for me, due to these wonderful children and supportive parents.  I hesitate to use the word “favorite” because I have loved all my classes, but this one is very special.  I appreciate all of you, and I hope you have a fun, relaxing, and enjoyable summer.
