What time does school start and end? 

School for the morning kindergarten class starts at 8:10 am and ends at 11:30 am Monday-Friday.  The afternoon kindergarten class starts at 11:00 am and ends at 2:20 pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday.  On Wednesdays, school starts at 9:00 am and ends at 12:30 pm. 

Does my child need to bring a snack or a lunch?

Yes!  There will be a 20 minute snack & recess time everyday.  Your child will need to bring a healthy snack (am class) or healthy lunch (pm class) everyday!  Good snacks include fruit, apple sauce, 1/2 a sandwich, yogurt, etc.      

Is there homework in kindergarten? 

Yes!  The homework folder will go home every Friday and is due back Thursday.  Your folder must be turned in by Thursday in order to receive your sticker.  You can always turn your homework in early. 

Can I donate items to my child’s class?

Yes!  Items that are always needed in class are glue sticks, Kleenex, Ziplock Baggies (all sizes), Clorox wipes, cotton balls, brown lunch bags, and colored markers.  I will also put out our “Giving Tree” for special items needed during the year.  Please NEVER feel obligated to take from the “Giving Tree” or to send in items!
