Welcome to December!

Time is flying and so are we.

The Canned Food Drive was a huge success.  Room 14 brought in 336 cans.  That means a lot of hungry people will have their needs met.  Thank you for your generosity.

TThe big project for December will be thhe explorer section of our social studies book.  We will culminate the study of individual explorers with a Living Time Line.  This is a program where each child comes in costume (homemade, creative -- no expense) and gives a 2-3 minute speech on one particular explorer.  This will take place December 15th at 8:30 a.m. in the multipurpose room.  Visitors are welcome.

TThe last day of school for 2006 will be DDecember 22.  It will be a minimum day, so please plan accordingly.

Have a wonderfu, restful holiday as your family enjoys time together -- a most precious commodity.
