Hello! My name is Lauri Harrison. I will be your child's second grade teacher for the 2007-2008 school year.

This is my 10th year teaching at Chaparral School. My son, my husband, my nephew and my nieces are all former students and graduates of Chaparral. As you can see, Chaparral is very near and dear to my heart and to my family!

Teaching is my second career. I graduated from Cal Poly, Pomona with a Finance, Real Estate and Law degree in 1988. After many years in the business field, I realized that it just was not for me. I wanted to have a career where I could make a difference. So, I went back to school to earn my teaching credential and I have enjoyed every minute!

In addition to my husband and son, I have a dog named Missy, two cats named Rocky and Shadow.

I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, scrap booking and photography. My favorite past time is watching baseball.
