Frequently Asked Questions

What time does school start and end? - School for the Morning Kindergarten class starts at 8:10am and ends at 11:30am Monday - Friday. The Afternoon Kindergarten class starts at 11:00am and ends at 2:10pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. On Wednesdays, school starts at 9:00am and ends at 12:30pm.

Does my child need to bring a snack or a lunch? - Yes! There will be a 20 minute snack and recess period everyday. Your child will have to bring a healthy snack (AM class) or a healthy lunch (PM class) everyday! Good snacks include fruit, apple sauce, 1/2 a sandwich, yogurt, etc.

Is there Homework in Kindergarten? - Yes! Homework will go home on Fridays and be due back the following Friday. You can always turn in your Homework early.

Can I donate item to my child's class? - Yes! Items that are always needed in the class are glue sticks, Kleenex, Ziplock Sandwich Baggies (All sizes), Clorox wipes, crackers in case a snack is forgotten, and colored markers. I will also put out our "Giving Tree" for special items needed throughout the year. Please NEVER feel obligated to take from the "Giving Tree" or to send in items!
