What time does school start and end? - School begins each morning at 8:05am and ends at 2:20pm on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. On Wednesday school ends at 1:00 pm.

Does my child need to bring a snack? - There will be a 20 minute snack and recess period everyday. Your child can bring a healthy snack if they would like! Good snacks include fruit, apple sauce, 1/2 a sandwich, yogurt, etc.

Is there Homework in First Grade? - Yes! Homework will go home on Monday through Thursday and due back the next day. Reading is a very important part of the student's daily homework.

Can I donate items to my child's class? - Yes! Items that are always needed in the class are glue sticks, Kleenex, Ziplock Sandwich Baggies (All sizes), Clorox wipes, colored pencils and colored markers. Please NEVER feel obligated to send in items!
