Chaparral Elementary students sure show the potential of becoming world famous scientists as was evident by the amazing annual Science Fair evening. The event was extremely successful and excitement was thick in our Multi-purpose Room. All students in grades 4 - 6 are required to conduct an experiment using the multiple step science process of inquiry. After establishing a hypothesis, doing research, collecting data, conducting the actual experiment, analyzing the results and drawing a conclusion, each student presented the results on an aesthetically pleasing and organized backboard. All students presented their experiments in front of their peers. Students in the primary classes were also encouraged to participate in the Science Extravaganza and many did! We also had quite a few classrooms that submitted classroom science projects. Awesome job Chaparral students!!
