Principal for the Day

Chaparral Elementary School Celebrated with Parsa as Principal for the Day on December 1st, 2005.  Parsa is a first grader in Mrs. Gould’s classroom.  He spent much time and effort in preparing and organizing all the special day events.  Some of the activities included a tour of the District Office, a tetherball tournament, marshmallow relay races for the primary students and bicycle races for the upper grade students.  Parsa also spent part of his day reading to different classes, observing students in their classrooms and just running around.  He especially liked the walki-talkie.  Mrs. Kerns said she was duly impressed with the seriousness that Parsa undertook his responsibilities.  Running a school can be extremely tiring!
